Fort of São João Baptista, Berlenga Islands
The Berlenga Islands are an archipelago distributed across the Cabo Carvoeiro (Carvoeiro's cape) near the city of Peniche. Located in the main island is the Fort of São João built in 1502 as a military defense, the Berlanga Lighthouse and the massive Elephant rock, famous for its elephant head shape.

The Peniche peninsula, located in the center of Portugal. The Cabo Carvoeiro and its lighthouse open the way to the Berlenga Islands as well as the mighty Atlantic Ocean.
